![]() ![]() ![]() dmg downloaded from the link before I posted so not sure what your initial problem was (I did not do an install though because I am on OS X 10.7 with an Intuos 4 and much later drivers). You have saved me £200 as I was about to buy a new Wacom if we couldn't get it going as we are abroad doing jobs and have to retouch away from home. Rebooted, and hey presto it all works ok and the Wacom panel all opens in System Preferences. I did a search on the web for 6.2.0w4 and found a site that looked ok and had exactly the same name as the last part of your link, and downloaded it. I did everything up to the last line, the link to the driver, but the link does not work. Please plug in the tablet and install this driver: Uninstall the Wacom driver software with the ´Wacom Tablet Utility´ (´Applications´ folder -> ´Wacom Tablet´)ĥ. When complete close Disk Utility and restart your system.Ģ. This may take a few minutes depending on the size of the drive.Ĥ. Enter your system password when indicated and the repair will begin. Select First Aid and the disk you wish to repair then click on Repair Disk Permissionsģ. Select the Go Menu / Utilities / Disk UtilityĢ. Which then contains these instructions from Wacom (the first points 1-4 may not be necessary in your case as that is simply making sure the uninstall of any current and then the install of the older Intuos 2 compatible driver all happens OK):įirst please run a mac disk repair to make sure everything is in orderįollow the steps below to repair disk permissions:ġ.
